Maryam has over twenty-five years of experience in representing clients in employment and business litigation and alternative dispute resolution matters, counseling clients on day-to-day employment issues, and performing employment investigations. She also advises companies that do not have an in-house legal department on risk management issues, and reviews and negotiates business contracts on their behalves.
Maryam occasionally accepts single-plaintiff cases where an employee's rights have been egregiously violated. This flexibility is consistent with her core value of fairness. It further keeps her current on significant legal and regulatory issues and trends impacting both employer and employee side dispute resolution.
Maryam is a former partner of the prominent Orange County law firm, Call & Jensen. She also served as General Counsel for the Orange County based company, International Education Corporation, setting up the company's in-house legal department.

Maryam received her Juris Doctor degree from UCLA School of Law and is admitted to practice in all California State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
